BeTA has the ambition of bringing together all professionals that are key to the successful delivery of turnaround and restructuring plans in Belgium.

The goal of our association is fourfold :

To create awareness and promote the adoption of (meaningful) legislative and/or regulatory developments
To professionalize our practice
To boost external/international relations
To provide adequate learning & education to all its members (from a legal, social, financial, perspective).

To ensure the achievement of these objectives, we have created four BeTA sub-committees.

To support the further development of BeTA and its committees, we are continuously looking for ambitious and active members who want to become involved in the development and building of these committees.

International Relations Committee

BeTA aims to create a European network, bringing together together professionals involved in complex and international restructuring operations in order to foster the emergence of a uniform European practice

Best Practice and Policy Committee

BeTA aims to improve the framework and execution of restructuring and turnaround strategies by:

Developing research programs and specific subjects regarding business restructuring Providing education and learning opportunities, and organizing trainings for the restructuring community Transferring knowledge by the exchange of professional experience and best practices

Legal Committee

BeTA aims to urge the government to promote a culture of business rescue, to update the current legislation to limit the negative impact of potential insolvencies, and to support and promote the adoption of legislative and/or regulatory developments

Event Committee

BeTA aims to unite professionals and create a community from across public and private investors, private equity firms, bankers, lawyers, consultants and financial advisors, who are all key to the successful delivery of turnaround and restructuring plans.
